“Stolen Lullabies and Secret Impasses,” is a shaving of interpretive minimalism, encapsulating a surreal atmosphere with vivid free-flowing imagery reinforced by a reflective, introspective voice that raises assault, abuse, and violence awareness.

PRLogJan. 17, 2015ORLANDO, Fla.Founder-CEO of DonnaInk Publications, L.L.C., Ms. D. L. Quesinberry stated, “‘Stolen Lullabies and Secret Impasses,’ is my own guilty pleasure – it yields an inordinate ascription to consciousness, where self-restorative hutzpah counter-balances sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse through supranatural faith, hope and love. And, it resonates well with survivors from all walks of life (family, lovers, friends, associates, fans, readers, etc.) who have experienced the debilitating effects of violence.”

About the Book: Stolen Lullabies presents snapshots in time, and reveals hard realities, in an edgy yet humbled voice – seemingly a winnow of religious mysticism. The title recants quieted, disturbing, dramas while also sharing anecdotal histories, quintessential images of life and reviewer comments. Sexual assault, child abuse, and domestic violence are touched on, and offset by underlying gifts of the human spirit, where otherworldly inspiration and intercessory acts of kindness restore the soul. The healing process, and its susceptibilities, are equipoised to unvoiced truths of victimization and its after-affects throughout this title. An additional underlying, and recognizable thematic, involves the generational residue that assault, abuse and violence leave in the wake of their storms.

About the Author: a proud mother of five adult children, the author was awarded a literary scholarship to a finishing school at the age of thirteen (13), which demonstrates her life-long love of creative writing. She often reflects on the fact that as a youngster, all of five (5) or six (6), she wrote bantering discourses to the Easter Bunny who entertained her communications with responss for over a year.

As a long-standing member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Q (as she is often called) balances her faith with the weight of gravity. Her poetry, which is often referred to as mystic, depicts this reality. As a survivor, “Q” maintains her lifelong affinity for spirituality, faith and human compassion. With an avid thirst to learn more about the recorded histories of heavenly messengers, much of Ms. Quesinberry’s work speaks to angelic and/or otherworldly realms.

As DonnaInk Publications, L.L.C. Founder and CEO, Ms. D. L. Quesinberry presents extensive past performance; her education, background and professional history is shared at length in the title’s conclusion.
